The Institute of Biomedical Sciences at the School of Medicine of the University of Chile has an opening for a tenure track position for a Computational Scientist interested to work in Biomedical research. The position will be affiliated to the Program of Human Genetics of the Institute and is expected to collaborate with faculty in different fields such genetics, genomics and medical informatics. Developing an independent research line with international-level productivity. Obtaining external funding for research projects. Participation and organization of undergraduate and graduate courses in physics, mathematics, computer science, o bioinformatics for students of biomedical sciences. Supervising undergraduate and graduate theses projects. Designing and directing research projects and publishing scientific papers in journals of international prestige. Desired applicant's profile
